When this new condo received its TOP, the owners wanted to add more storage and give a rich and contemporary vibe. Using natural material like stone, wood veneer, metal, stone and glass – a contemporary aesthetic was added. Taking inspiration of Japanese influences, a feature wall in the dining room adds textural layering and reflection through the use of mirrors. Brass inlay has been used for the TV console to further create visual interest through the use of different materials.
To provide more shoe storage, cabinets with custom made brass handles were added. The placement of the handles adds a visual play. One bedroom was converted into a dressing room, with a hybrid of closed wardrobes and glass doors. Colour is brought in through the clothes on display and bass details were used here as well for a lux detail.
