As the owners are fervent Star Wars fans and had to house their entire collection of collectables, the theme of the house took reference from the movie and its starship. The ceiling in the living room, with its curves and light strips does remind of a space ship. The circular theme is continued with the feature wall – all finished in stainless steel.
The open kitchen with its glass top functions as a dining space. The cabinet doors can hold magnets to leave a grocery list of add some fridge magnets from holiday destinations. Creating ample space for storage to hold a vast collection of shoes and luggage, the space has been redesigned. Next to the harsh finish like glass and steel, wood is used to soften the overall feel and the apartment has natural stone floors.
The walk in wardrobe has a circular wall, creating a larger bedroom space. The en-suite features a shower stall made out of solid surface, a slick contrast to the cement rendered walls. The gallery has storage behind the display areas, creating ample space to expand on the current collection of Star Wars memorabilia.
