With its clean architectural lines, light colours and connecting spaces, this four-room BTO apartment is getting a transitional make over. Drawing inspiration from the Craftsman Style homes, the detailing will add a timeless elegance and contemporary chic vibe.
Enfilade design for the kitchen and the study room help to open the space, while still maintaining functionality of each space. Symmetry in the dining room is maintained by relocating the entrance into the kitchen and the study area. Large double leaf French doors flood light in this naturally darker part of the house.
The kitchen is expanded by annexing the yard area and the sleek white shaker carpentry in full laminate is offset with the wood tile flooring and hexagon marble tiles on the backsplash. In the bathrooms, the look is more contemporary with custom cut tiles to create a herringbone patterned feature wall.
The bedroom will undergo minimal renovation, just adding some architectural details and a wardrobe. Furniture and soft finishing will complete the overall look.
