After living in their condo for ten years, the home owners are going for a new elegant, airy transitional design. While maintaining some exsting features in the home, architectural detail will be added and the walls in the living room will get a luxury treatment. The layered effect creates an upscale home that still features a contemporary vibe. The transitional furniture, touches of mild steel and clean colours add to the up to date vibe.
The kitchen will feature white shaker style carpentry, finished in durable laminate, which are offset with handpressed tiles and a Chinoiserie backsplash for added visual interest and softness.
In the master suite, laser cut panel doors are lined with mirror to create an open feel in the walk-in wardrobe, but still adhering to transitional design principles. For the master bathroom as well as the common bathroom, we opting for a light grey marble tile, custom cut to create a more layered pattern that will add visual interest.
With two growing boys, the bedrooms are more contemporary and monochromatic. This allows the kids to display their favourite posters and artwork to reflect their personality.
